2019 New Castle County Fire Service Installation Banquet

The 2019 New Castle County Fire Service Installation Banquet was held on Thursday, December 13th at the Holloway Terrace Fire Company.
Meeting was called to order by President Dave Majewski with the welcome by the host company and meeting was recessed for a delicous dinner by the Ladies Auxiliary of the Holloway Terrace Fire Company.
President Majewski called the meeting back to order and introduced 1st Vice President Mark Gott who introduced the Master of Ceremonies, Past NCCVFA and DVFA President Ed Barlow.
Year End Reports were given by County Association President Dave Majewski and Chiefs Association President Chad Ingram. Both Presidents were given a standing ovation for a job well done the past year.
President Majewski then presented the Annual Louis J. Amabili Memorial Firefighter of the Year Award. This years award was presented to Kenneth H. McMahon of the Christiana Fire Company.
President Ingram and Assistant Chief Don Holden of the 911 Communications Division then presented the Kenneth R. Greenfield Memorial Award Fire / Medical Dispatcher of the Year Award. This years award was presented to Shift Supervisor Robert L. Kerr.
President Majewski and Assistant Chief Don Holden of the 911 Communications Division then presented the Edith "Bunny' Wilson Memorial Award Emergency Call Operator Award. This years award was presented to Emergency Call Operator James Chadwick.
Rich Rodriguez and the Family of Harold "Sonny" Wilkins presented the Sonny Wilkins Longevity Award. This years award was presented to Richard T. Perillo of the Brandywine Hundred Fire Company.
Chiefs President Ingram then presented the Presidents Award to Joe Day of the Minquadale Fire Company for his efforts with the IRP Committee for the Chiefs Association.
Installaton of both the County and Chiefs Association were officated by Master of Ceremonies Ed Barlow.

Once the installation was over, passing of the gavels were done by both Association Presidents, followed by gifts to the out going Presidents from the incoming Presidents, their respective companies and families.
