2013 NCCVFA Firefighter of the Year Award Nominations - New Castle County

Nominations for the 2013 New Castle County Volunteer Firefighters Association are now being accepted. The fire company must endorse the nominee. The letter of nomination shall be on official Fire Company stationary, signed by an authorized Fire Company Representative. The intent of this award is to recognize volunteers who have made significant impact or contribution to their community, county and State. Heavy emphasis will be placed on the nominee’s activities at the local level. The committee recognized that there are many fine candidates who are well known within their individual Fire Company and communities who may not be known at a County or State level. Please return all entries to: Wally Poppe P.O. Box 356 Delaware City, DE 19706-0356 All submissions need to be turned in no later than the August 8, 2013 Meeting at Station 26, Townsend. The Award will be presented at the October 10, 2013 Meeting at Station 29, Port Penn.
