DVFA Firefighters of the Year

The DVFA is pleased to announce a new program part of their four-year SAFER Grant for Retention.
Three [3] Volunteer Firefighters, one from each County in Delaware will be chosen each year for the distinction of Firefighter of the Year and receive the following:
- Statewide Announcement and Press Releases
- Trip to the Annual FDIC, the Worlds largest Firefighting Training Conference and Exhibition in Indianapolis, IN
- Ticket to the Congressional Fire Services Institute Annual Dinner in Washington, D.C.
- Invitation to the DVFA Annual Conference Luncheon in September
- Recognition at Legislative Hall's Delaware Volunteer Firefighter Day in April
